Here at ICDC we enjoy expanding upon the children wonder and educational experience. Sometimes that mean we often need to come away from the table and enjoy some personal social time together in more intimate space.
Like today in the Big Class (ages 3-5), the lesson was bent towards matching and recognizing patterns. We had to stray away from the table and grab mismatched mittens to get our attention span back on track! What glorious fun the children had, helping each other reunite their “lost” mittens. And from mittens the children learned how to assist one another and recognize the patterns all around them.
